Andrew Haines (American, b. 1952)

Andrew Haines holds a degree from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, where he studied painting. Andrew is an important American painter living in Boston. He is the recipient of a Painting Fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. His work is represented in public collections: the Boston Athenaeum, the Zimmerli Museum at Rutgers University, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Andrew was appointed the MFA’s first curator of frames in 2002. His new title became Associate Conservator Furniture and Frame Conservation. See article in boston.com.
